Cloudwick Announces Record-Breaking 1000% EMEA Growth in 2015

Tina Diamond, A Recognized European Big Data Industry Veteran, Appointed to Lead Cloudwick’s EMEA Cloudera, Hortonworks, MapR, DataStax & Databricks Enterprise Business

Newark, CA – January 26, 2016 Cloudwick, the leading provider of Big Data services and solutions to the Global 1000, announced the appointment of industry expert and veteran Tina Diamond as Regional Sales Manager for EMEA. This comes on the heels of the company announcing record 2015 growth from its European Operation, with 2016 plans to grow to more than 50 Big Data consultants, which will bring the company’s total worldwide operations practice to more than 260 consultants by year-end.

Ms. Diamond joins Cloudwick from Whishworks, where she led their Big Data and Business Development Practice. By conceiving and launching the “Think Big, Start Small” approach with Hortonworks, Cloudera, MapR, Cisco and Databricks, Ms. Diamond puts into place the relationships, resources and technologies traditional enterprises need to transition into modern data and analytic businesses. Prior to that, Ms. Diamond held sales management and business development positions in a number of high technology start-ups in Silicon Valley. She has her postgraduate masters in Organizational Leadership from Oxford University.

Cloudwick Hires Industry Sales Veterans to Lead Its Enterprise BDaaS

Newark, California – October 13, 2015Cloudwick, the leading Big Data-as-a-Service provider to the Global 1000, has expanded its sales management team with the addition of Chris Mische as Global Director of Sales and Brendan Stone as Western Region Account Executive. Both will report to Mark Schreiber, General Manager. As Global Director of Sales, Mische is responsible for managing Cloudwick’s direct and channel sales in the U.S. and EMEA, while Stone will focus on expanding the company’s Western U.S. BDaaS and Analytics-as-a-Service (AaaS) business.

Mische is recognized as one of the leading big data sales executives by Cloudera, Hortonworks, MapR, Intel, and Amazon Web Services as having been responsible for leading enterprises like Nike, Kaiser Permanente, United Healthcare, Honda, NBC, Optum and GE to becoming modernized and data-driven. This experience positions him well to expand the Cloudwick sales team and further strengthen the company’s partnership programs. Prior to joining Cloudwick, Mische held sales management positions with Zaloni, NetApp, Zirious and McKesson.

Stone comes to Cloudwick from his position in big data enterprise sales at WANdisco, where he was a top performing account manager and consistently exceeded quota. Prior to WANdisco, he held sales positions at Marketo, Oracle and SAP, which gives him rich technology insight to offer clients seeking Cloudwick’s BDaaS and AaaS solutions.
